Where nightlife actually happens
You’ll hear three areas mentioned the most:
Charlotte Amalie and Havensight
Good if you’re near the ships, but most things close earlier and it’s more of a cruise atmosphere.
Red Hook
This is the main nightlife area for locals, boat crews, and expats. You can walk from bar to bar and the energy stays strong late into the night.
Frenchman’s Reef
More resort style. Great for a romantic drink and views, not really a party scene.
