Do not build a USVI itinerary around a rideshare assumption. Coverage, availability, pickup locations, and driver supply can vary by island and time of day. A service that appears in an app is not the same as a guaranteed airport, ferry, beach, or cruise-port transfer.
For important connections, arrange a licensed taxi, hotel transfer, or local operator in advance. Ask where the pickup happens; terminals and resort roads may have specific meeting points. Keep the driver’s phone number and a backup plan when the next ferry or flight matters.
Taxis and private transfers are often the simpler choice for airport arrival, cruise days, luggage, and groups. Compare the total price with a rental car, including parking and fuel.
