St. Croix’s West End beaches are a natural fit for a coast-first day with Frederiksted, snorkeling, sunset, or a slower drive as the next move. Conditions and shoreline character can vary, so compare the actual access, shade, facilities, and nearby services instead of expecting every west-side beach to serve the same purpose.

Choose one main beach and keep the return route open. A town meal or historic stop can fit naturally after the water, but the best plan leaves time for the beach itself and does not depend on crossing the island again at the end of the day.

Before you decide
