The East End is for travelers who want the route, coast, and open space to be part of the day

Plan a St. Croix East End day around beaches, coastal drives, supplies, scenic stops, and realistic return timing.

The St. Croix East End question

The East End is for travelers who want the route, coast, and open space to be part of the day

St. Croix’s East End rewards a slower, more deliberate plan. The experience is less about walking between a tight cluster of listings and more about choosing a coastal direction, a beach or marine stop, and the meal or viewpoint that makes the drive worthwhile. Use the area when the landscape and the day’s shape matter as much as the individual stop.

Start with the farthest stop you genuinely want, then work backward through time, supplies, and the return route. A short list of compatible stops will usually feel better here than an itinerary built from every nearby pin.

Before you decide

  • Choose the East End for a route-led day, not a last-minute stop.
  • Bring supplies and confirm the return plan before leaving the busier centers.
  • Pair one main coast experience with one meal or viewpoint.
