East End St. Croix beaches

Choose an East End beach by the drive, wind, and what you want after the water

The East End of St. Croix can feel more open and remote than the town-centered parts of the island. Beach choices here work best when the group knows whether it wants a quiet swim, snorkeling, a resort-side stop, or a scenic finish after exploring the hills and coastal roads.

Plan supplies and the return before leaving Christiansted or another base. Pair one beach with a nearby meal, overlook, or water activity only when the road and conditions make the combination comfortable for the group.

Before you decide

  • Check the wind and water conditions for the coast you choose.
  • Bring supplies when services are not part of the stop.
  • Use the beach as the day’s anchor before adding another long drive.
